When you find yourself drifting from joy

Lest we ever drift too far from what brings us absolute joy …

Sail today, sail yesterday,

Pull the tiller, run away,

Catch the wind, unfurl the jib,

Grab the sun, don't be glib,

The day will come,

For all not some,

To sail that last mile,

To share that last smile.

(Please enjoy the short brief sailing video below.)

Poem written and sailing video filmed by Jacqui Barrett-Poindexter and dedicated to Capt. Rob.

  1. Jacqui,

This is a good reminder to sail with the wind and enjoy the journey, while taking time to partake of the things that make one's heart sing.
